By September 17, 2007: Long-term care facilities and transportation providers must begin submitting prior approval requests to First Transit (1-866-503-9040) for all non-emergency transportation services for LTC residents with dates of service on or after October 1, 2007. Attend mandatory NETSPAP training sessions conducted by First Transit. Update billing workflows to verify prior authorization before providing transportation services. Claims without prior approval will be denied.
