Summary
Illinois Local Education Agencies providing Medicaid school-based health services must submit electronic cost calculation forms through the MEDI system between January 14-February 15, 2008 for the 2006-2007 school year. LEAs that don't complete this process will lose ability to receive claim adjustments and have future claims processed.
Action Required
This policy is from 2008 and applies only to Illinois Local Education Agencies providing school-based health services. Medical billing teams at healthcare practices are not affected by this administrative requirement for school districts.
