Summary

Starting July 1, 2008, all drivers and employee attendants for medicar and service car providers transporting Medical Assistance program participants must complete department-approved safety training certification every three years. Providers must maintain certification documentation and failure to produce it will result in recovery of all payments made for services by non-certified staff.

Maintain certification documentation for all staff. Recertify every three years. Contact training programs for schedules and costs.
