Summary
Illinois Medicaid now requires providers to report both a procedure code (Box 10E) AND a National Drug Code (Box 11) on the HFS 3797 Medicare Crossover Invoice. Previously, procedure codes were not required when reporting NDCs.

Immediately: Billing team must update HFS 3797 Medicare Crossover Invoice submissions to include both procedure codes (Box 10E) and National Drug Codes (Box 11).
