Summary

Supportive Living Facilities (SLFs) must report reductions in room and board charges and move-in incentives as income for Medicaid-eligible residents within five working days. Any money given to residents over the $90 personal needs allowance must be reported to DHS and will be applied toward payment calculations.

Within five working days of any change: SLF billing staff must report all move-in incentives, rent reductions, and additional money given to Medicaid residents over the $90 personal needs allowance to DHS local office caseworker or through the REV System using Box 8 of Form HFS 1156. Failure to report will affect Medicaid payment calculations.
