Summary
H1N1 vaccine billing instructions have been removed as H1N1 is now included as part of the standard influenza vaccine. Practices should follow standard vaccination billing instructions in Appendix A-8, Page 1 instead of the separate H1N1 billing procedures.
Action Required
Immediately: Remove HFS Appendix A-8 pages 1-2 and replace with HFS Appendix A-8 page 1. Update billing procedures to bill H1N1 vaccinations using standard influenza vaccine codes and follow standard vaccination billing instructions. Stop using separate H1N1 billing protocols.
