Summary
Illinois Medicaid reversed its plan to implement new bundled dialysis rates and will continue using the December 31, 2010 rates instead. Add-on payments for Epogen and other injectable drugs are reinstated, and providers must rebill claims if these drugs weren't separately identified.
Action Required
Immediately: Review all dialysis claims with dates of service January 1, 2011 and after that are on hold. Void and rebill any paid claims where Epogen or other injectable drugs were not separately identified to receive correct add-on payments.
