Summary
Illinois Local Education Agencies (LEAs) providing Medicaid school-based health services to children with IEPs must submit electronic cost calculation forms through the HFS MEDI system for FY11 services. LEAs must complete these forms between March 19, 2012 and May 18, 2012, or they will not receive claim adjustments for the 2010-2011 school year and HFS cannot process future claims.
Action Required
By May 18, 2012: LEAs must log into the HFS MEDI system using Illinois digital identity and complete electronic cost calculation forms for each school-based health service provided during 2010-2011 school year. Include all required information (Lines A, B, C, G, I, and M) for staff FTE, hours worked, salaries/benefits, and indirect costs. Failure to submit by deadline will prevent claim adjustments and future claim processing.
