Summary
Illinois is expanding its Integrated Care Program (ICP) to include Long Term Supports and Services through two managed care organizations - Aetna Better Health and IlliniCare Health Plan - affecting providers serving Medicaid clients in specific counties. Providers must contract with these MCOs to ensure payment for ICP enrollees receiving HCBS waiver services and nursing facility care.
Action Required
Before February 1, 2013: Providers serving Home and Community-Based Services waiver clients or nursing facility residents in suburban Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kankakee, Lake, and Will Counties must contract with Aetna Better Health (1-866-212-2851) and/or IlliniCare Health Plan (1-866-329-4701). Contact both plans immediately to begin contracting process. Failure to contract will result in no payment for ICP enrollees.
