Summary

Action Required
Immediately: Front desk staff must verify ALL Medicaid patient eligibility using MEDI system, AVRS (1-800-842-1461), or REV system before providing services. Do not rely solely on the new HFS Medical Card presented. Check for additional identification to ensure the person matches the card. Risk of non-payment if eligibility is not verified.
