Summary
This policy establishes a fiscal year 2014 Long Term Care Provider Assessment requiring nursing home providers to pay $6.07 per occupied bed day (excluding Medicare Part A residents) for April 2013 through March 2014. Monthly assessment reports must be filed electronically or by mail with payments, and late payments incur 5% penalties while late reports incur 25% penalties.

For Long Term Care Nursing Home Providers only: Calculate and pay monthly assessments of $6.07 per occupied bed day (excluding Medicare Part A residents) for reporting periods April 2013 through March 2014. Submit Monthly Assessment Reports electronically via HFS MEDI website or by mail with payments postmarked by due dates. Failure to pay on time results in 5% penalty; failure to file reports results in 25% penalty. This assessment cannot be billed to residents.
