Summary
Illinois is implementing Hospital Access Improvement Payments for FY 2014 as part of the Enhanced Hospital Assessment program. Enrolled hospitals will receive scheduled payments from October 2013 through June 2014 covering fiscal years 2012-2014, with the first payments starting October 23, 2013.

Hospital finance teams must review the detailed calculation of Hospital Access Improvement Payments when received and comply with the annual tax remittance notification and schedule to ensure continued eligibility for payments.
