Summary

Effective immediately, prior authorization and Four Prescription Policy overrides are no longer required for anticonvulsant medications when prescribed to participants with an existing diagnosis of epilepsy or seizure disorder in department records. Initial prescriptions for newly diagnosed patients may still require prior approval until the diagnosis appears in system records.
