Summary
The Illinois Healthy Women Program (IHW) will end December 31, 2014, with no claims accepted for dates of service January 1, 2015 or later. By December 31, 2014: Billing team must stop submitting IHW claims for dates of service on or after January 1, 2015. Verify all IHW patient eligibility through MEDI system before providing services due to programming errors that incorrectly determined some clients ineligible. Front desk staff must refer IHW clients to GetCoveredIllinois.gov or 1-866-311-1119 to apply for alternative coverage. Claims submitted for IHW with service dates after December 31, 2014 will be denied.
