Summary
Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services is offering hospital providers advance payments equal to 4 months of outpatient claims based on 2013 shadow pricing to help with cash flow during the Hospital Outpatient Rate Reform implementation delays. Hospitals must submit a signed Advanced Payment Plan Agreement by October 10, 2014 to participate.

By October 10, 2014: Hospital billing administrators must print, complete, and sign the Advanced Payment Plan Agreement from the HFS Hospital Reimbursement Notifications webpage, choose a recoupment option, and email the scanned document to HFS.BCHS@illinois.gov. This is optional - only applies if the hospital chooses to receive advance payments.
