Summary
Illinois Medicaid is reducing pharmacy dispensing fees by $1 for all prescriptions from May 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015. New dispensing fees will be $1.40 for brand drugs, $4.50 for generic drugs, and $11.00 for 340B drugs. This affects fee-for-service Medicaid reimbursement only.

Effective May 1, 2015: Pharmacy billing team must update fee schedules in billing system to reflect reduced dispensing fees - $1.40 for brand drugs, $4.50 for generic drugs, and $11.00 for 340B drugs through June 30, 2015.
