Summary
Virginia Medicaid is launching a new Demographic Correction Portal (DCP) on May 22, 2026, replacing the current email-based process for submitting member demographic update requests. LTSS screeners must stop using the patientpay@dmas.virginia.gov email and switch to the secure portal accessible through the PRSS provider portal.
Action Required
By May 22, 2026: LTSS screening staff must transition from emailing demographic correction forms to patientpay@dmas.virginia.gov to using the new Demographic Correction Portal (DCP) accessed through the PRSS provider portal. Staff with eMLS creator roles should log into the portal and review the user guide, FAQ, and video tutorial. Update internal procedures to use the new portal for tracking demographic correction requests and receiving automated status notifications.
