Summary
The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services updated EAPG standardized amounts for Critical Access Hospitals effective July 1, 2015. New rate sheets have been posted online and an updated outpatient EAPG pricing calculator is available.
Action Required
By August 7, 2015: Critical Access Hospitals should review their new rate sheets posted on the department's website and download the updated Outpatient EAPG pricing calculator. If hospitals believe the updated EAPG standardized amounts are inaccurate, submit written appeals with supporting documentation to the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services Bureau of Rate Development and Analysis within 30 days of this notice.
