Immediately: Update billing system with new Illinois Medicaid hospice rates effective October 1, 2015. Use Value Code 61 with appropriate CBSA for Revenue Codes 651 (Routine Home Care) and 652 (Continuous Home Care). Use Value Code G8 with appropriate CBSA for Revenue Codes 655 (Inpatient Respite Care) and 656 (General Inpatient Care). Place CBSA right justified to the left of the dollar/cents delimiter. If patient resided in multiple CBSAs during billing period, report the last CBSA. Contact Illinois Department at 1-877-782-5565 if CBSA not in database. Note: Does not apply to MCO/MCCN enrolled patients.
