Summary
ACE and CCE Medicaid programs are transitioning to MCO partnerships by July 1, 2016. Providers must verify plan membership in MEDI system for all ACE/CCE members since they can change plans within 90 days of transition and are not required to stay with partnered MCOs.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must verify plan membership in Medical Electronic Data Interchange (MEDI) system for all ACE/CCE Medicaid members before providing services. Check eligibility using REV System, AVRS (1-800-842-1461), or MEDI system. Front desk staff must perform eligibility verification regularly as members have 90 days to change plans after transition. Contract with new MCO networks to ensure reimbursement.
