By July 1, 2016: Long Term Care facilities must register for electronic billing through MEDI system at (800) 366-8768. Ensure all NPIs are registered in NPPES and cross-walked to unique HFS PINs in IMPACT system. Update billing workflow to submit 837I claims electronically for single-month service periods only - no paper claims accepted. Claims for services before July 1, 2016 will continue auto-generation.
