Summary
Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services is implementing a new monthly billing process for long-term care services effective July 1, 2016. A mandatory webinar on April 27, 2016 will provide an overview of the changes and requirements for nursing facilities, ICF/IID facilities, and supportive living programs.
Action Required
By April 27, 2016: Long-term care billing staff must attend the mandatory webinar (9:00-11:00 AM for nursing facilities, 1:00-3:00 PM for SLP/ICF facilities) to learn new monthly billing requirements. Review the 04/19/16 Informational Notice before attending. Send questions in advance to HFS.LTC@illinois.gov. Update billing processes according to webinar guidance before July 1, 2016 implementation date.
