Summary
Illinois hospitals must ensure their IMPACT system enrollment includes all specialty/subspecialty combinations that match their Provider Information Sheet Categories of Service. Missing or incorrect specialty selections will cause claim delays or rejections when the system updates legacy MMIS files.

Immediately: Illinois hospital billing teams must review their IMPACT system enrollment to verify all specialty/subspecialty combinations match their Provider Information Sheet Categories of Service. Submit modifications through IMPACT as needed and contact IMPACT Help Desk at IMPACT.HELP@Illinois.gov or (877) 782-5565 for assistance. Failure to correct mismatched specialties will result in claim delays or rejections.
