By October 1, 2016: Billing and clinical staff at Illinois nursing facilities must update MDS 3.0 assessment forms to include 9 new Section S items (S1004, S1150, S3310, S3315A, S6052, S6053A, S6053B, S6232, S6234, S6236). Download revised forms from LTSS webpage. Train staff on new data collection requirements for reportable diseases, TBI add-ons, therapy billing sources, COPD treatments, isolation procedures, and antipsychotic medication tracking. Incomplete Section S submissions will be rejected.
