Action Required

Action needed
Effective October 1, 2016: Billing team must verify All Kids eligibility status using HFS MEDI system or 270/271 transactions before administering vaccines. For Title XXI and State-Funded All Kids patients, privately purchase vaccines and bill HFS fee-for-service or MCOs directly for reimbursement instead of using VFC program. Update workflow to check Loop 2110C, MSG01 for Title information in eligibility responses.
