Summary
The Illinois Department of Health and Family Services has updated the Handbook for Providers of Encounter Clinic Services to include changes to Vaccines for Children (VFC) program billing instructions. Topic D-210.5.4 has been revised with new vaccination billing requirements, and Appendix 6 has been added to provide additional guidance.

Immediately: FQHCs, ERCs, and RHCs must review the updated Handbook for Providers of Encounter Clinic Services Topic D-210.5.4 and new Appendix 6 for revised VFC vaccination billing procedures.
