Action Required

Action needed
Immediately: Billing team must check MEDI system for every patient on date of service to verify if they are in fee-for-service or enrolled in FHP MCO health plan. Update workflow to verify coverage for all patients in Champaign, Christian, DeWitt, Ford, Logan, Macon, Menard, Piatt, Sangamon and Vermilion counties. For Health Alliance Connect members after December 31, 2016, bill using Healthcare and Family Services Medical Card instead of MCO member ID.
