Summary
Illinois Medicaid will terminate all providers enrolled before February 1, 2012 who have not revalidated through the IMPACT system by February 1, 2017. All claims from terminated providers will be rejected, and they must submit new enrollment applications to resume billing.
Action Required
Before February 1, 2017: All Illinois Medicaid providers enrolled before February 1, 2012 must complete revalidation through the IMPACT system. Billing team should verify all rendering providers (prescribing, referring, ordering) are also revalidated by logging into IMPACT and checking 'View Servicing Provider Details'. Failure to revalidate will result in provider termination and all claims will be rejected starting February 1, 2017.
