Illinois Medicaid is implementing a new web-based medical record submission process for retrospective pre-payment and post-payment utilization reviews through eQSuite®. Hospitals must transition from mailing hard-copy records to uploading electronic files directly through the eQSuite® portal, with email alerts when records are requested.

Before April 11, 2017: Hospital medical records staff must complete eQHealth webinar training on the new eQSuite® submission process. Set up email alerts and familiarize staff with the Retro Chart Requests tab for uploading electronic medical records.
