Summary
Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services updated EAPG standardized payment amounts for Critical Access Hospitals effective July 1, 2017. New rate sheets are available on the Department's website, and hospitals have until August 14, 2017 to appeal these updated payment rates.

By August 14, 2017: Critical Access Hospitals should review their new EAPG rate sheets on the Illinois HFS website and access the updated Outpatient EAPG pricing calculator. If rate accuracy needs to be challenged, submit written appeals with supporting documentation to Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services Bureau of Rate Development and Analysis at 201 South Grand Avenue East, 2nd Floor, Springfield, Illinois 62763.
