Summary
Illinois increased Medicaid reimbursement rates for certified community mental health centers effective August 1, 2017. The state will automatically adjust previously submitted claims with service dates on or after August 1, 2017, and providers should contact managed care entities for resolution of MCE member claims.
Action Required
For Illinois providers serving Medicaid mental health patients: Contact individual HFS contracted Managed Care Entities (MCEs) to resolve any community mental health center claims for MCE members with dates of service on or after August 1, 2017 that were submitted and paid prior to MCE implementation of updated rates.
