Summary
The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services updated the POS Version D.0. Payor Sheet for 72-hour emergency pharmacy fills. Two specific field codes (461-EU and 462-EV) must now use exact values (2 and 72 respectively) when submitting emergency fill requests.
Action Required
Immediately: Pharmacy billing staff must update billing systems to use Field 461-EU with value '2' and Field 462-EV with value '72' when submitting 72-hour emergency fill requests.
