Summary
A report containing incorrect Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) calculations for January 2018 Patient Credit amounts was sent to long-term care providers in December 2017. The Illinois Department of Human Services will automatically correct these amounts through caseworkers and run system adjustments - no provider action is required.

No action required by providers. Continue submitting claims with current Patient Credit amounts shown in the Healthcare and Family Services data system. DHS caseworkers will correct the amounts automatically and system adjustments will be processed once the new adjustment system testing is complete.
