Summary
Illinois hospitals must submit final data for 2019 rate year calculations of Disproportionate Share Hospital payments, Medicaid Percentage Adjustment payments, and County Trauma Center Adjustment payments. Claims must be adjudicated by June 30, 2018, and other required data must be received by July 1, 2018.
Action Required
By June 30, 2018: Hospital billing teams must ensure all claims are fully adjudicated for the 2016 cost reporting period (DSH and MPA) and State fiscal year 2017 (TCA). By July 1, 2018: Submit any incomplete data to the Department to ensure accurate rate calculations. Contact Disproportionate Share Unit at (217) 785-0710 with questions. Failure to meet deadlines will result in rate determinations based only on data currently on hand.
