Summary
Illinois is implementing simplified credentialing for Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) plans. Providers can now register once through the HFS IMPACT website to be credentialed with ALL MMAI health plans, eliminating the need for separate credentialing with each plan.
Action Required
Immediately: Illinois providers participating in MMAI plans should register through the HFS Illinois Medicaid Program Advanced Cloud Technology (IMPACT) website at HFS.MMAI@Illinois.gov or call 217-524-7478. Once approved by HFS, you will be credentialed with all MMAI health plans automatically. Continue providing office hours and operational information to MCOs as requested.
