Summary
Community Mental Health Centers with residential specialty can now bill Community Support services using MHP (HN) and High Risk MH Program (HK) modifiers instead of the previous H2015 HN HE combination. This change qualifies for a $5.00 Psychiatric Leadership Add-on.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update Community Mental Health billing to use MHP (HN) and High Risk MH Program (HK) modifiers for Community Support services in residential settings. Stop using the previous H2015 HN HE combination. Update billing software to apply the $5.00 Psychiatric Leadership Add-on for these services. Providers needing Residential Specialty Code must update their status through HFS IMPACT Portal.
