Summary
Illinois Medicaid is closing the attestation period for Critical Access Pharmacy (CAP) payments on April 19, 2019. After this date, pharmacies will no longer be able to attest to meeting CAP criteria for quarters from April 2018 through December 2018 and will lose eligibility for those quarterly payments.
Action Required
By April 19, 2019: Pharmacy staff must complete CAP attestation through the Department's MEDI website for quarters April-June 2018, July-September 2018, and October-December 2018. Contact Bureau of Professional and Ancillary Services at 877-782-5565 for policy questions or MEDI help desk at 888-618-8078 for technical issues. Failure to attest before deadline will result in permanent loss of CAP payment eligibility for those quarters.
