Summary
The Illinois Department of Health and Family Services corrected errors in the Hospital Outpatient Calculator's relative weights for EAPGs (Enhanced Ambulatory Patient Groups). The updated calculator with correct relative weights is now available, though individual hospital rates remain unchanged.
Action Required
By July 1, 2019: Hospital billing teams must download and implement the corrected Outpatient Calculator dated June 14, 2019 from the Illinois HFS website.
