Summary
Illinois Medicaid has transitioned from mailing paper Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) reports to electronic delivery through the MEDI system. Long Term Care providers must now download COLA files electronically using specific steps through the Medical Electronic Data Interchange system.

Long Term Care billing staff must: 1) Access COLA files through MEDI system instead of waiting for paper reports 2) Follow 9-step download process: login to MEDI, select Internet Electronic Claims, choose Download Files, select entity and file, specify local directory, download and open with WordPad 3) Contact Bureau of Long Term Care at 844-528-8444 with questions
