Action Required
Immediately: Update billing system to use modifier GT and Place of Service 02 for all telehealth services. Replace CPT codes 99441, 99442, 99443 with HCPCS codes G2010 and G2012 for virtual check-ins. Add revenue code 0657 with HCPCS Q3014 for hospice telehealth facility fees. Train staff on new dental telehealth codes D9995/D9996 and inpatient consultation codes G0406-G0408, G0425-G0427. Configure system to allow audio-only encounters with GT modifier for medical/behavioral health encounters.
