Summary
The CARES Act Recovery Rebate payments and Pandemic Unemployment Compensation of up to $600/week do not count as income for Medicaid eligibility determination and are not to be collected by long-term care providers. These are the residents' personal funds that must be managed according to existing personal fund account policies.

Immediately: Long-term care billing teams must ensure CARES Act Recovery Rebate payments and Pandemic Unemployment Compensation are not counted as income in Medicaid eligibility calculations, not reported to DHS, and not collected toward residents' group care credits.
