Summary
Illinois Medicaid managed care plans are increasing behavioral health service rates by 20% for services provided March 9 through June 30, 2020. Providers who billed below their usual and customary rate must submit corrected claims to receive the higher reimbursement.
Action Required
For service dates March 9 through June 30, 2020: Behavioral health providers should review claims already submitted and determine if they billed below their usual and customary rate. If so, submit corrected claims at the higher usual and customary rate to receive the 20% increase. Providers who already billed above the revised Medicaid rate will receive automatic reprocessing.
