Summary
The federal Department of Health and Human Services is providing COVID-19 CARES Act Provider Relief Fund payments to eligible Medicaid and CHIP providers equivalent to 2% of total net patient revenue. Providers must submit their information through the federal portal by July 20, 2020, with some providers ineligible if they already received Medicare payments from the first distribution.
Action Required
By July 20, 2020: Eligible Medicaid and CHIP providers must submit provider information through the federal HHS portal to receive COVID-19 Provider Relief Fund payments. Attend the federal webinar on July 8, 2020 at 3:00PM Central time for additional guidance. Review federal fact sheet to determine eligibility - providers who received de minimis Medicare payments from the first distribution are ineligible for this round.
