Summary
Long-term care facilities that received advance payments from Illinois Medicaid in 2019 must begin monthly repayments starting August 15, 2020. The original repayment start date has been delayed multiple times due to COVID-19 but will now commence in August.
Action Required
By August 15, 2020: Long-term care facilities (NF, MC/DD, SLP, SMHRF) that received advance payments must submit their first monthly installment payment per their repayment agreement. Contact Bureau of Long Term Care at 1-844-528-8444 or HFS.LTC@Illinois.gov with questions. Failure to comply may violate the repayment agreement terms.
