Summary
The federal government has extended the deadline for Medicaid and CHIP providers to apply for COVID-19 CARES Act Provider Relief Fund payments from July 20th to August 3, 2020. This funding provides approximately 2% of reported gross revenue from patient care for eligible providers who treat Medicaid and CHIP patients and haven't received previous relief fund payments.
Action Required
By August 3, 2020: Eligible Medicaid and CHIP providers who have not yet applied must submit applications for Provider Relief Fund payments through the Enhanced Provider Relief Fund Payment Portal at www.hhs.gov/providerrelief.
