Summary
Illinois Department of Health and Family Services notified hospitals of payment discrepancies in the July 2020 MCO-HAP (Managed Care Organization Hospital Access Program) payments. Underpaid facilities will receive corrective payments soon, while overpaid facilities will have the excess reconciled against their August MCO-HAP payment.

Immediately: Hospital billing teams should verify July 2020 MCO-HAP payment amounts received against the amounts listed on the Department's Hospital Reimbursement Notifications Website. Contact HFS.Hospitals@Illinois.gov if discrepancies are identified. Monitor for additional payment corrections or reconciliations in August payments.
