Summary
Illinois Medicaid has established new training requirements for providers seeking approval to deliver Mobile Crisis Response and Crisis Stabilization services. Existing providers have their certifications extended through January 31, 2021, but must complete mandatory training modules and the program approval process by that date to continue providing these services.
Action Required
By January 31, 2021: Providers currently certified for Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) and/or Crisis Stabilization (STA) services must complete mandatory training modules through the University of Illinois Provider Assistance and Training Hub (PATH) and the Crisis Response program approval process. Failure to complete the approval process will result in loss of certification to deliver MCR and STA services.
