Summary
Illinois Medicaid is launching an online portal for billing COVID-19 testing services for uninsured patients and traditional Medicaid fee-for-service members with dates of service from March 18, 2020 forward. Providers must enroll in IMPACT system and create Illinois.GOV email accounts to access the portal when it launches.

Immediately: Providers billing COVID-19 testing in Illinois must: 1) Enroll through the Department's IMPACT system to be eligible for reimbursement, 2) Create a public domain Illinois.GOV email address account for portal access, 3) Prepare patient data using the attached Excel file layout for upload. Continue using HRSA COVID-19 Claims Reimbursement Portal for dates of service February 4 - March 17, 2020. Bill Medicaid managed care plans directly for their members.
