Summary
Critical Access Pharmacies (CAP) in Illinois that missed the June 30, 2020 self-attestation deadline can still attest through November 30, 2020 to receive enhanced dispensing fees. CAPs completing late attestation will start receiving correct fees by December 15, 2020 and can void/rebill claims back to July 1, 2020.
Action Required
By November 30, 2020: Critical Access Pharmacies must complete self-attestation via the MEDI system to receive enhanced dispensing fees for fiscal year 2021. After December 15, 2020: Review claims from July 1, 2020 forward and void/rebill any affected claims not receiving the enhanced CAP dispensing fee.
