Summary

Action Required
Immediately: Billing teams at ICF/IID and MC/DD facilities must establish documentation procedures in resident files to support Day Program service billing during COVID-19. Document reasons why residents cannot attend offsite Day Programs and whether services are provided onsite by Day Program providers or facility staff. Ensure Day Program payments are passed to appropriate agencies within 10 days per administrative rule. Claims will be voided and payments recouped if required conditions are not met.
